Royal Shredders™ is a lifestyle brand inspired by the youth, for the youth in underrepresented communities to grow and feel empowered. Through the sport of skateboarding, we learn life lessons, build community and gain self confidence.
Royal Shredders was designed with confidence, integrity, and diversity in mind. Check out our programming and merchandise to support our brand and reach a community near you!

Royal Shredders™ is a skateboarding program for kids – adults that want to sharpen, master, and have fun with their skate skills. It was made by Max Alijah, a boy who wanted to share his skateboarding skills with everybody, including his mom which is the owner of Mindful Arts Dance Academy.
His goal was to guide and help other skaters with their problems. We set out to accomplish this goal one by one. It all starts with you and your board!
As an early skater, Max’s fearless and bright energy in the skate park inspired other skaters younger and older alike. He wanted to share this energy and allow it to inspire others to not be fearful of failures, but be determined to simply get better.

We all have a little Royalty in our blood. It starts here with Royal Shredders™.
The Royal Shredders™ set out to teach:
There is no such thing as immediate success, you must work diligently to obtain goals
Fear and failure is not reality, but a part of the learning process
Experience is your best teacher
Be present and authentically you to create your own style
There truly is no limit when you apply these rules both on the skate park and in the world.
To carry out this mission of spreading confidence and positivity through skateboarding, Royal Shredders ™ includes an amazing youth skateboarding program, skate gear shop and a competition series called Shred-a-Palooza.

In Dedication
We want to dedicate Royal Shredders ™ to a special person in our lives, Andrew Jones, who was a devout skater lost to gun violence. Max Alijah, alongside his mother and his godmother and some other Brentwood natives, participated in advocating the importance of a place to skate in order to decrease violence in the Brentwood, NY town shortly after the DIY skatepark Andrew played a part in building was demolished. The result of their persistence with Town Hall was the authorization of a brand new skate park at a local state park. We hope increased youth programming will decrease the violence in the community.

Chapman Skateboards of Deer Park, NY is a proud sponsor in his honor and the mission of the brand. We held a “Kick Push” tribute to Drew and are thankful for Chapman’s generous donation to support the stop to gun violence. The skate family (shown above) gathered together, and one by one, skated to Lupe Fiasco’s “Kick Push”, which is a common motivational song to about the skateboarding lifestyle.
